New Renault ZOE wins ‘Best small electric car’ at 2020 What Car? Awards

  • New ZOE triumphs in ‘Best Small Electric Car’ category at prestigious What Car? Awards.

The New Renault ZOE has triumphed in the 2020 What Car? Awards, winning the ‘Best Small Electric Car’ title overall. This success represents the seventh consecutive year that ZOE has been honoured at the annual What Car? ceremony, which has been running for over 40 years and is recognised as one of the most respected in the industry.

Speaking about New ZOE’s success, Steve Huntingford, Editor of What Car? said: “The Renault ZOE won a price point last year but this overhauled model represents such an improvement that it’s the best small electric car you can buy. With its bigger battery, it covered 192 miles in our real range test- around a third more than its predecessor. What’s more it’s classier inside and more enjoyable to drive, thanks to brisk acceleration, composed handling and a settled ride on the motorway.”

New ZOE has been refreshed inside and out, while its new 52kWh battery results in a class-leading range of 245 miles under latest WLTP testing conditions. Dynamic exterior changes give the New ZOE a sleek and modern appearance, helped in no small part by the inclusion of standard LED headlamps across the range.

Inside, New ZOE has been treated to an equally thorough redesign and enhanced technology, including the addition of a 10-inch TFT instrument cluster and EASY LINK infotainment system with 9.3-inch portrait screen, which features real time charging information and Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay™. Iconic models also include a unique seat fabric that’s made from 100% recycled materials.

In addition, Renault offers retail customers that purchase a ZOE a free 7kW wall box charger fully-installed in their home to ensure the best possible electric experience.

New ZOE is priced from £25,670 OTR including the Plug-in Car Grant and is available to order now.

Service Operations

During the lockdown our After Sales operation will remain open for essential service and MOT work. Any existing maintenance or MOT bookings will still continue as the planned. Please note maintenance and MOT services are available by appointment only. To book an appointment please call us or Click here to book online.

It is vitally important that you are able to visit our dealerships safely, so we have worked responsibly in accordance with Government guidelines on COVID-19 to implement the following safety measures:

  • We have carried out Covid-19 Risk Assessments issued by the Government. Click here to view
  • We have placed convenient floor markings in all our dealerships to help you keep a safe distance of 2 metres.
  • We have also introduced a limit to the number of people inside our dealerships
  • All of our colleagues will wear a face masks, and we have installed protective screens at all workstations.
  • We have made hand sanitiser readily available for all customers and colleagues to use. Upon arrival at the dealership we kindly ask you to sanitise your hands thoroughly.
  • All desks, workstations and card payment machines are cleaned & sanitised regularly.
  • Car sanitation

We have produced a short video of what to expect when visiting our dealership. Please take the time to watch our short video. With these safety measures in place you can be assured that we are committed to keep both our customers and staff safe.
