RENAULT TRAFIC VAN E-TECH Renault’s mid-size, pure-electric panel van From £43,155

NEW RENAULT TRAFIC E-TECH

With the new Trafic E-Tech, the electrification of the Renault van range is now complete. This means you can enjoy enhanced mid-size panel van capacity and versatility thanks to a choice of lengths and heights. You’ll save money on fuel too while benefiting from full Clean Air Zone charge exemption.

Available in three length/height configurations, this clever all-electric van is ideal for a wide range of business uses.

Left Right

For the first time, the Renault Trafic comes with a pure-electric powertrain, ensuring significantly enhanced efficiency and a range of up to 186 miles. If you do a lot of your driving in the city, you’ll be pleased to know that the range increases to 239 miles in urban areas. Optimised energy recovery is available too, thanks to the inclusion of an Adaptive Regenerative Brake System.

Powered by a 90kW (118bhp) electric motor which is energised by 52kWh lithium-ion battery, the new Trafic E-Tech is just as dynamic and agile as its combustion-engined counterpart. For a start, it delivers 245Nm of instant torque, allowing the van to go from 0-62mph in just 8.4 seconds – and it can tow up to 920kg.

An eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system is included as standard, featuring DAB radio, USB ports and Bluetooth. Also included is wireless Apple/Android smartphone integration and three years’ worth of connected navigation services which incorporate Google search (for places of interest, etc.) and live traffic updates.

Staying on top of your charging schedule is easy with the My Renault app (available for Android and Apple smartphones). It allows you to keep tabs on the vehicle’s remaining electric range while informing you of your nearest charging locations. It also lets you schedule your next charge, whether one is required straightaway, later in the day/week, or during off-peak times.

Gain easy access to the Trafic E-Tech’s maximum 8.9m3 load bay via doors on either flank or 180-degree-opening rear doors. Securing cargo is simple because the load area features 18 anchor points, and no matter where you’re parked, you’ll always be able to load and unload with a minimum of fuss.

This is in no small part due to a class-competitive maximum 4.15m load length that makes storing extra-long items that much easier. Whichever version you choose, the Trafic E-Tech features a handy hatch in the van’s full steel bulkhead which allows pipes, planks, etc. to slide under the passenger seat.

Concerned about your charging options? No need! The vehicle can be charged at home, at work and at more than 32,500 public charging locations around the UK. Indeed, when attached to a rapid-charging public connector, the battery receives a 31-mile top up in fewer than 25 minutes.

New to electrified motoring? To help make the transition as seamless as possible, be sure to take advantage of the government’s Plug-in Van and Truck Grant. It’s available up to and including 31 March 2025 and could provide you with as much as £5,000 towards the cost of the vehicle.

Versatile load bay No job is too big for this all-electric van, especially when you choose the E-Trafic E-Tech variant that perfectly suits your business needs. Two body lengths are available (5.08m or 5.48m) and two heights (1.97m or 2.50m), and the vehicle’s load capacity ranges from 5.8m3 to 8.9m3. If you select the LWB variant, you’ll be able to transport loads of up to 4.15m thanks to a clever load-through feature.
Mobile office The new Renault Trafic E-Tech is designed with you in mind. This is why the cab features 88 litres of cubby space and a wide central seat that folds down to form a work desk. This handy feature offers more than enough space to place a laptop, tablet and any documentation, and it includes a detachable A4 clipboard.
Clean Air Zone compliant Wherever you are in the UK, you’re rarely far from a Clean Air Zone. With the Trafic E-Tech, you don’t need to worry about fees because it produces zero CO2 and NOx emissions. This means that it’s Clean Air Zone compliant in conurbations such as London, Birmingham, Sheffield, Bradford, Tyneside and Glasgow.
