Renault's Electric Icons Take Centre Stage at the 2026 Goodwood Festival of Speed

Renault is heading to the 2026 Goodwood Festival of Speed 9th-12th July with a showstopping lineup that bridges the gap between retro nostalgia and high-performance futurism. From "mini-supercars" to accessible city icons, the Renault stand is set to be the pulse of the event.

Renault 5 Turbo 3E

The star of the show, which will make its UK dynamic debut by tackling the world famous Goodwood hillclimb. This isn't just a tribute to the legendary 1980s Turbo 2; it’s a 555hp "mini-supercar" designed to drift.

Mind-Blowing Torque: It delivers a massive 4,800 Nm of torque from two rear-mounted motors.

Supercar Speed: Thanks to its lightweight carbon super structure, it sprints from 0-62 mph in under 3.5 seconds.

Rapid Tech: Built on an 800-volt architecture, it can recharge from 15% to 80% in just 15 minutes.

Ultra-Exclusive: Production is limited to just 1,980 individually numbered units, priced from £140,000.

"Le Frog": The New Twingo E-Tech Electric

Affectionately nicknamed “le frog” for its expressive headlights and vibrant green paintwork, the Twingo is Renault’s answer to accessible electric mobility.

Targeting a starting price below £20,000, the Twingo brings "big car" tech, like One Pedal driving and Google built-in, to a compact, city-friendly footprint. With a range of up to 163 miles, it proves that electric driving can be affordable, fun, and full of personality.

Don't let its playful exterior fool you; the Twingo E-Tech is packed with "big car" features typically reserved for more expensive segments.

Smart Connectivity: It features the OpenR Link system with Google built-in, providing seamless navigation and app integration.

Effortless City Driving: It introduces One Pedal driving technology, allowing you to accelerate and brake using only the accelerator, ideal for stop-and-go urban traffic.

Zippy Performance: A lively 60 kW electric motor ensures a spirited drive through tight city streets.

Sunshine and Style: Renault 4 'Plein Sud'

Festival-goers will also get a close look at the Renault 4 E-Tech electric ‘Plein Sud’. This version is designed for those who love the open air, featuring a massive electric folding canvas roof. At the touch of a button, the roof provides a panoramic 80x92cm view of the sky, echoing the breezy versatility of the 1960s original.
