Groupe Renault scores a hat trick at the Parkers New Car Awards 2020

  • Groupe Renault UK wins a trio of awards at the Parkers New Car Awards 2020
  • All-New Renault Clio wins Best First Car award
  • Best New Car Finance Award recognises availability of 0% APR PCP and HP offers across the Renault range
  • Alpine A110 triumphs in Best Car for Thrill-Seekers category

Groupe Renault UK has added another three awards to its impressive trophy haul, winning Best First Car, Best New Car Finance whilst sister brand Alpine took the Best Car for Thrill-Seekers in the Parkers New Car Awards 2020

The manufacturer's All-New Clio took home the Best First Car award while the Best New-Car Finance award was achieved in partnership with RCI Financial Services. The Alpine A110 roared away with the Best Car for Thrill Seekers award.

The All-New Fifth Generation Renault Clio impressed Parkers' expert judging panel in a whole host of areas. Speaking of its merits, the judges' comments included: "It's impossible not to be impressed by this car's new interior, which is high-quality, well-designed and packed with the latest technology" together with "In higher trims the Clio's also a very handsome little car, while a big boot and low running costs keep it practical for daily use" and "It's also very impressive to drive - comfortable yet composed in the corners..."

The availability of 0% APR on PCP or HP finance offers across the model range, sensible T&Cs and attractive deals on such models as the Mégane R.S convinced Parkers that Renault deserved the award for Best New Car Finance.

Parkers was equally complimentary towards the Alpine A110 saying... "... the sensation of an almost total lack of mass, engaging handling and a rally-car aping engine note combine to make the Alpine A110 a huge success right off the bat" and awarding it its Best Car for Thrill Seekers Award.

On awarding Groupe Renault, Keith Jones, Deputy Editor of Parkers, said: "Hats off to Groupe Renault for pulling in a diverse haul of awards, from appealing to first-time drivers with the impressive New Clio to tugging at the heart strings of those looking for something thrilling with the Alpine A110. The hat trick comes from offering cracking 0% APR deals across the lion's share of its range, too."

Service Operations

During the lockdown our After Sales operation will remain open for essential service and MOT work. Any existing maintenance or MOT bookings will still continue as the planned. Please note maintenance and MOT services are available by appointment only. To book an appointment please call us or Click here to book online.

It is vitally important that you are able to visit our dealerships safely, so we have worked responsibly in accordance with Government guidelines on COVID-19 to implement the following safety measures:

  • We have carried out Covid-19 Risk Assessments issued by the Government. Click here to view
  • We have placed convenient floor markings in all our dealerships to help you keep a safe distance of 2 metres.
  • We have also introduced a limit to the number of people inside our dealerships
  • All of our colleagues will wear a face masks, and we have installed protective screens at all workstations.
  • We have made hand sanitiser readily available for all customers and colleagues to use. Upon arrival at the dealership we kindly ask you to sanitise your hands thoroughly.
  • All desks, workstations and card payment machines are cleaned & sanitised regularly.
  • Car sanitation

We have produced a short video of what to expect when visiting our dealership. Please take the time to watch our short video. With these safety measures in place you can be assured that we are committed to keep both our customers and staff safe. We are very much looking forward to welcoming back our customers to Retail Group.
