Get ready for an enhanced electric driving experience! Renault Retail Group is thrilled to announce significant updates to the award-winning Megane E-Tech Electric and the family-focused Scenic E-Tech Electric, making them even more appealing and technologically advanced.
The already impressive line-ups for both models are now simplified and sportier, introducing exciting esprit Alpine trims, alongside the familiar techno version. But that's not all – both EVs now benefit from the intuitive One Pedal driving mode, a standard Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) adaptor, and access to the seamless Plug & Charge capability. Plus, we're delighted to announce new, lower starting prices for both models!
Sporty Style with New esprit Alpine Trims:
Embracing the iconic sporting heritage of the Alpine brand, the new techno esprit Alpine and iconic esprit Alpine trims inject a dose of dynamic flair into both the Megane and Scenic E-Tech Electric.
On the Megane E-Tech Electric esprit Alpine, the distinctive F1® blade receives a Matte Shadow Grey finish, perfectly complementing the matching rear diffuser. Both Megane and Scenic esprit Alpine models sport striking Ice Black Renault logos, exclusive 20-inch esprit Alpine alloy wheels, sleek gloss black side window trim, and prominent esprit Alpine badging. Adding even more value, all available paint options are now available at no extra cost on these sporty trims!
Inside, the esprit Alpine body-hugging seats offer enhanced comfort with six-way electric adjustment, two-way lumbar support, and a massage function for the driver. Upholstered in an embossed titanium black mesh made from recycled materials and finished with stylish blue top-stitching, this contrasting detail is echoed throughout the cabin on the door panels, centre console, armrest, and seatbelts. Completing the sporty ambiance are distinctive esprit Alpine blue carpets.
The Scenic esprit Alpine models now feature a convenient face ID system that automatically selects the driver's preferred profile and seat position. Furthermore, both the Megane and Scenic E-Tech Electric boast an improved rear-view camera with enhanced image quality. The Megane E-Tech techno model also receives a refreshed rear lighting signature.
One Pedal Driving: Effortless Control & Maximum Efficiency:
Across the entire range, both the Megane E-Tech Electric and Scenic E-Tech Electric now feature One Pedal driving as standard. This intelligent regenerative braking system allows the vehicle to decelerate smoothly and come to a complete stop simply by releasing the accelerator pedal – minimizing the need to use the brake. This not only provides a smoother and more comfortable driving experience for everyone on board but also maximizes energy recuperation, extending the driving range and reducing wear on the brake pads. For those who prefer more manual control, steering wheel-mounted paddles allow drivers to easily adjust the intensity of the regenerative braking.
Power Up Anywhere with Standard V2L:
Flexibility is key, and both the Megane E-Tech Electric and Scenic E-Tech Electric now come equipped with a new 11 kW charger and a standard Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) adaptor. This incredible feature allows you to use the car's battery to power external 230V devices – whether it's a laptop for working on the go or a coffee machine for that perfect roadside break!
Effortless Charging with Plug & Charge:
Following its debut on the Renault 5 E-Tech Electric, the convenient Plug & Charge technology is now integrated into every Megane and Scenic E-Tech Electric. This means that our entire fully-electric Renault range now benefits from this time-saving innovation. Compatible chargers will automatically recognize your car as soon as it's plugged in, authorizing payment and initiating the charging process instantly. The Plug & Charge system is seamlessly integrated with the Mobilize Charge Pass, with compatible chargers conveniently identified in the My Renault app and the vehicle’s OpenR Link display.
More Accessible Than Ever with Lower Starting Prices:
We're delighted to make electric mobility even more accessible. The updated Renault Megane E-Tech Electric now starts from just £32,495 on-the-road, while the spacious and versatile Scenic E-Tech Electric is now available from £37,195 on-the-road.
