Here at Dacia Retail Group, we're all about giving you the best value for your money, and we're thrilled to announce that the new Dacia Duster is getting a serious upgrade! The latest enhancements to its powertrain range offer more power and even greater efficiency, all while staying true to the Dacia ethos.
We've been hard at work to make the Duster more powerful and more frugal than ever. Two new engines are joining the lineup, bringing next-level performance and efficiency to your daily drive.
The All-New Hybrid 155
The Hybrid 155 powertrain, which first made its mark on the Bigster, is now available on the Duster. This impressive new engine combines a 109 bhp 4-cylinder petrol engine with two electric motors and a 1.4 kWh battery. What does this mean for you?
Thanks to clever regenerative braking and an efficient automatic gearbox, the Duster Hybrid 155 can spend a significant amount of time in all-electric mode, especially when driving around town. It always starts in electric mode, giving you a smooth and quiet start to your journey. The result is a combined fuel consumption of just 4.6 litres/100km, an 8% improvement over the Hybrid 140, with CO2 emissions of just 105g/km. That's a win for your wallet and the environment!
The Mild Hybrid 140
For those looking for the first step into electrification, the Mild Hybrid 140 is the perfect choice. This powertrain pairs a new-generation 1.2-litre 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine with a 48V mild hybrid system and a 6-speed manual gearbox.
The hybrid system gives the engine a boost during start-up and acceleration, making for a more enjoyable drive. It also helps to cut average fuel consumption and CO2 emissions by around 10% compared to a petrol engine of the same power. The Mild Hybrid 140 is a great way to enjoy the benefits of electrification without a change to your driving habits.
More Than Just Power
The Duster’s enhancements don’t stop under the bonnet. We’ve also given the car a fresh new look inside and out. The top-of-the-range Journey trim now boasts exclusive upholstery and matching trim, while the rugged Extreme trim features new 18-inch black alloy wheels for a more assertive look.
What’s more, both the Extreme and Journey models with these new hybrid powertrains will now come with adaptive cruise control as standard, making those long motorway journeys even more comfortable and relaxing.
Full details, including pricing and when you can place your order, will be revealed in November 2025.
