Dacia Opens Its Car Doors to a Million Star Hotel Experience in Scotland

Dacia is inviting adventure lovers to experience the great outdoors in a completely new way with the launch of its extraordinary Million Star Hotel. Set in the heart of Scotland’s Galloway Forest Park, this one of a kind concept transforms the Dacia Bigster into a cosy mobile hotel room, offering guests the rare chance to sleep beneath one of the clearest night skies in the UK.

Located within the UK’s first certified Dark Sky Park, the Million Star Hotel blends comfort, simplicity, and nature, proving that unforgettable experiences do not require excess. Instead, Dacia shows that the perfect ingredients are a comfortable place to sleep, fresh air, and a sky filled with stars.

Where the Journey Becomes the Destination

At the core of the Million Star Hotel experience is the Dacia Bigster, a rugged and versatile SUV designed for exploration. For this unique stay, a fleet of Bigsters will form a temporary base camp deep within the forest, each one equipped with Dacia’s clever Sleep Pack and a panoramic sunroof.

The Sleep Pack transforms the interior of the Bigster into a practical and comfortable double bed with a 190 centimetre mattress. Even with the bed set up, there is space for luggage and essentials, making it ideal for extended outdoor adventures. Above, the panoramic sunroof turns the cabin into a private observatory, allowing guests to relax and fall asleep while watching the night sky unfold.

A New Kind of Luxury Rooted in Nature

Rather than focusing on traditional ideas of luxury, the Million Star Hotel celebrates simplicity and connection with nature. Guests will leave behind crowded hotels and digital distractions in favour of peaceful surroundings, whispering trees, and crisp night air.

During the stay, visitors will have the opportunity to take part in a range of outdoor activities including kayaking, fishing, and cooking over an open fire. As darkness falls, the forest becomes a place of stillness, creating the perfect setting for stargazing and reflection.

How to Take Part

The Dacia Million Star Hotel will open for an exclusive overnight stay from 25 to 26 February 2026. Places are limited and will be allocated via ballot.
