Starting from ninth on the grid, the #35 Alpine A424, piloted by a trio of Ferdinand Habsburg, Paul-Loup Chatin, and Charles Milesi.

The team faced a rocky start, dealing with an incident with the #8 Toyota and overcoming two early penalties. At one point they were in 17th place!

Mid-Race Masterclass: After an unfortunate safety car period, the #35's quick refuel strategy rocketed them into second place
