Alpine has officially announced that its third-generation A110 engineering mule will make its global public debut at the upcoming Goodwood Festival of Speed (9th–12th July). Marking the brand’s largest-ever presence at the legendary automotive garden party, this exclusive first look signals a thrilling new chapter for the French premium sports specialty brand.

The World’s First True EV Sports Car

For driving purists, the shift to electrification raises one major question: Can an EV maintain the agility of a lightweight sports car? Alpine's answer is a resounding yes.

The upcoming production version of the third-generation A110 is being engineered as the world’s first true EV sports car. Underpinned by the brand-new, bespoke Alpine Performance Platform (APP), this next-generation machine is designed to outperform today's finest combustion sports cars while staying strictly true to Alpine's lightweight, emotional DNA.

While the final production styling remains under wraps, the development "mule" heading to Goodwood is the actual car used in rigorous testing to develop these future electric technologies. Visitors won't just see it parked on a stand—they will watch it blast up the hillclimb in action every single day of the festival.

Celebrating the A110 Legacy: The 'Alpine Moment'​

While the festival looks directly into the future, it also honors the heritage that got Alpine here. On Thursday 9th July, the brand will host a spectacular "Alpine Moment" during the daily Brand Parade.

A curated lineup of landmark A110 models will take to the hill together, tracing the car's evolution from its roots as a historic world rally icon to its new life as an electric pioneer. To bring a fittingly loud finish to the parade, Alpine will also run its high-revving, V8-powered E20 Formula One car up the hillclimb.
