Triple Digit Growth for Alpine in 2025

2025 will go down in the history books as the year Alpine shifted from a niche favourite to a major force in the premium segment. For the fifth year running, the brand has seen its influence grow, but this year was different: for the first time ever, Alpine smashed through the symbolic milestone of 10,000 registrations. With 10,970 vehicles sold, Alpine recorded a staggering 139.2% increase compared to 2024. While the growth was global, the UK led the charge with an incredible 369.5% surge in sales.

THE A290: THE CATALYST FOR GROWTH

The real engine behind these "triple-digit" results has been the Alpine A290. Launched as the brand’s first-ever electric hot hatch, it didn't just meet expectations, it blew them away.

Accounting for 75% of the brand’s total sales, the A290 was crowned 2025 Car of the Year and has successfully introduced a whole new generation of drivers to Alpine’s signature agility and performance. It’s proof that the "Dream Garage" isn't just a concept, it’s a commercial reality.

The A110: Still Leading the Pack

While the new electric models are grabbing headlines, the iconic A110 continues to defy the odds. Despite being in its final months of production after eight successful years, it remains the #1 two-seater sports coupé in Europe, holding a dominant 44% market share.

Even more impressively, buyers are opting for the best of the best: over 60% of A110s sold were the top-of-the-range GT or S versions, showing that enthusiasts are more hungry than ever for Alpine's lightweight, high-performance DNA.

LOOKING AHEAD: THE A390 ARRIVES

The momentum isn't slowing down. Later this year, the UK will see the launch of the Alpine A390, the brand’s first sport fastback.

Starting from £61,390, the A390 is designed to welcome even more customers to the brand by offering a five-seat, all-electric layout without sacrificing the "racing car in a suit" feel that makes an Alpine an Alpine.

A Global Expansion

To support this explosive growth, Alpine has accelerated its retail presence, ending 2025 with 169 stores across 25 countries. With plans to exceed 200 points of sale by the end of 2026, including a massive new Atelier London, the brand is building a permanent home for its rapidly growing community of fans.

The Bottom Line

As CEO Philippe Krief puts it: "2025 marks a historic milestone... we succeeded in the launch of the A290, welcoming new customers to the brand, while our iconic A110 continues to perform and inspire."

Triple-digit growth isn't just a stat, it’s a clear signal that Alpine’s strategy of innovation, electrification, and pure driving pleasure is exactly what the market has been waiting for.
