A New Era of Alpine Performance

The Alpine A390 is the second model in Alpine’s fully electric Dream Garage, following the award-winning A290. Designed as a five-seat sport fastback, it brings the agility and emotion of a sports car together with the versatility required for everyday driving.

Built on Alpine’s all-new optimised electric architecture, the A390 will be available in three versions from launch:

  • A390 GT – 400PS, 0–62mph in 4.8 seconds
  • A390 GTS – 470PS and up to 824Nm of torque, 0–62mph in just 3.9 seconds
  • A390 Premiere Edition – a high-spec, limited-run model restricted to 390 examples
  • Designed to Deliver True Alpine Driving Feel

All versions of the A390 feature Alpine’s unique Active Torque Vectoring system, enabled by two independent motors on the rear axle. This advanced setup allows precise torque distribution at each wheel, delivering exceptional agility, balance and responsiveness.

During development, Alpine benchmarked the A390 directly against the lighter A110 to ensure the driving experience remains centred on driver feel and engagement, even as the brand transitions to electric performance.

Power is supplied by a high-performance 89kWh battery, delivering up to 345 miles of range (WLTP, subject to homologation). Rapid DC charging of up to 190kW enables a 15–80% charge in approximately 25 minutes, while bidirectional AC charging comes as standard across the range.

    Looking Ahead

As Nic Burnside, Brand Director, Alpine, explains:

“With its blend of expressive design, bespoke electric performance and the dynamic spirit that defines every Alpine, the A390 marks an important step in the brand’s transition to a fully electric future – one that remains firmly centred on driving pleasure.”

We look forward to welcoming you this January as the Alpine A390 arrives at Renault Retail Group.
