With the launch of Atelier Alpine, the brand introduces a new world of customisation, debuting on the A290, its first fully electric hot hatch. Since its debut, the A290 has captured attention for combining Alpine’s unmistakable performance DNA with modern electric innovation. Now, one year on from the first deliveries, the brand is taking things further. Responding to growing demand from owners eager to personalise their vehicles, Alpine has launched the Atelier Alpine, a design-focused customisation hub built on creativity, craftsmanship, and attention to detail.
This initiative follows the same philosophy that shaped the A110 Atelier programme, giving customers the power to co-create a car that truly embodies their taste. Drawing on the expertise of Alpine’s designers, this new offer brings a range of expressive liveries that will continue to expand in the years ahead. It’s a reflection of Alpine’s mission: to blend performance and personality with timeless French flair.
Signature Packs: Accentuating Style and Sportiness
The first designs available through the Atelier Alpine are two exclusive packages: Signatures and French Signature, each crafted to enhance the sleek proportions and dynamic lines of the A290.
The Signatures pack introduces eye-catching red or blue accents that trace the car’s silhouette, from the roof rail to the lower skirts and rear diffuser. These vibrant touches highlight the A290’s sculpted form and racing spirit. The look is completed with 19-inch gloss black Snowflake wheels, a hallmark of Alpine design, and matching brake callipers in the chosen colour. Inside, special floor mats embroidered with the Alpine “A” bring a subtle, coordinated finish.
The Signature livery is available from €900 (VAT included) for the A290 GT, GT Premium, and GT Performance, and €500 for the A290 GTS. It’s an option that adds presence and individuality, without compromising the car’s pure performance edge.
French Signature: A Celebration of Alpine’s Heritage
The French Signature livery pays homage to Alpine’s origins and its deep connection to French motorsport. A tricolour stripe runs elegantly from the bonnet to the roof, a proud symbol of the brand’s roots in Dieppe. The design also incorporates the triangular “Snowflakes” motif, a visual link to Alpine’s success in Formula 1 and endurance racing. On the roof, the iconic A-arrow logo stands as a bold reminder of the marque’s identity and achievements on the world stage.
This exclusive finish is priced at €450 (VAT included) and, like the Signatures pack, is available to configure through the Atelier Alpine online tool. The livery offers a modern yet timeless interpretation of Alpine’s legacy, connecting past and present through design.
Technology Meets Driving Emotion
While the new Atelier Alpine options focus on aesthetics, the A290 itself continues to evolve technologically. The latest models now include One Pedal driving as standard across the range, a feature that makes every journey smoother and more intuitive. Drivers can control acceleration and deceleration with a single pedal, enhancing comfort in urban settings while optimising regenerative braking for improved efficiency.

Power, Agility, and Everyday Practicality
The Alpine A290 is much more than a stylish city car. As the brand’s first fully electric hot hatch, it represents a bold new chapter for Alpine. Underneath its compact dimensions lies a powertrain that delivers up to 220 hp (160 kW), capable of sprinting from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.4 seconds. Powered by a 52 kWh battery, it offers a WLTP range of up to 380 km, along with 100 kW fast-charging capability that replenishes 15% to 80% in about 30 minutes.
Designed for versatility, the A290 blends urban agility with everyday practicality. It features five doors, five seats, and a 326-litre boot, making it just as suitable for weekday commutes as for weekend adventures. Measuring 3,990 mm long and 1,820 mm wide, it strikes a perfect balance between compact proportions and a confident, sporty stance.
