It’s offered by Payment Assist, and it covers the cost of an unexpected bill, for repairs or MOTs and such like. You simply pay a deposit followed by the balance of the bill over a handful of months – and there are no fees and no interest.
We’ll ask you to complete a simple affordability calculation because Payment Assist loans are subject to status and the ability to repay. We’ll carry out a soft credit search for finance up to £2,000, which won’t affect your credit score. For finance that’s more than £2,000, we’ll initiate a credit reference agency check.
All you need to do is contact us. Assuming you don’t wish to use an alternative payment method, we’ll provide confirmation of the payment plan cancellation. Once that’s done, we’ll refund any money due to you via your debit card within five to seven working days.
